Review

The house is large and spacious, but badly in need of decorating. It is freezing in the winter (except for the top floor) expect huge gas bills! On the plus side, the landlord is quick to fix problems, when we moved in he fitted a burglar alarm on request, he replaced the toilet when it started leaking within a day, replaced broken blinds and curtains and put double beds in. When we needed a plumber to check the gas he arranged for him to come the next day. The living room is a really decent size, but the kitchen is really small, its got everything you need in it but you can only fit 2 people in it at a time. All 5 bedrooms are doubles, 2 of them are huge, 2 medium sized, one on the top floor is smaller than the others but still a good room. There is a cellar, useful for storing stuff. The house is pretty soundproof, you don't tend to hear people next door/above/below you. There is only one bathroom, but we haven't found that to be a problem at all. The house is quite expensive, but it is 5 mins from uni, and 2 from the shops and pub. The views from the top floors are amazing. Overall, i recommend the house as long as you're not fussy about decoration.
